So the main friction of your game is in how you pick up and put down items. First of all I recommend you combine the E and R keys so you use the same E key to pick up and drop off items. If their hand is empty, E is pickup. If their hand is full, E is dropoff. I'm assuming the player can only carry one thing in their hand at a time.
The player should show what they're holding in their hand. Pans should show what ingredients have already been placed on them.
Go through each of the locations where you can pickup and dropoff and make sure they work consistently. For example, I was unable to pick up the cooked food.
For your itch.io page, make sure the header image shows both your game's name and your studio's name. For example, "Paws & Pans by Onyx Studio".
This game is so cute, a strength is that the food looks so good, I can't wait to see how I'll cook it. A point of friction is that when I pick up some food, and then drop it in the pan, nothing happens yet. I wonder if you could have player feedback like, cooking in the pan, until that mechanic is in game. Could be just a label or something like that. Right now it feels like you just drop it and it's gone. One way to improve the Itch page is to develop the header a little more and maybe include some more art, especially of all the foods, either the ingredients or the cooked dishes.
I love the layout of the game and the character its really cute. The strength of the game is that you can cook to get your pals home. A friction that is in the game is the character cant do anything after grabing the food.Something to improve is putting instructions so the person playing can know what to do.
I love the graphic, and the character made me feel in "awe so cute". However there are some bugs occurred:
Bugs:
(Adjustment) The Camera is too close, it's difficult for me to see the area.
When I grab a ingredient and press E on the Pot on the left side. It disappear and when I attempt to grab one, It doesn't let me.
(Unsure about the Quit) The other game when I quit it froze for me that indicates is a quit, however for you it's basically just a restart. But then again I might be mistaken.
Website Design:
On the side you know how you can add images on the side, try adding maybe a cat or a monkey cooking wearing a chef hat or whatever you think is engaging for people to choose your game to play.
The sprites are nice and clear, and the character is cute. One issue is that there is no UI or sprite shown on the pan to indicate what the player has added before. Also, the scene in the game is too big.
I really like this game. I think the art style is especially cute, and each item is drawn very delicately. However, when I pick up an item, I don't know how to use it. I think adding a tutorial would make it even better.
One strength of your game and Itch page is that you have amazing graphics and customized your Itch page to represent your game, which I haven't seen another group do so far. One point of friction I encountered when playing your game is that once I picked up anything, hoping to prepare it, but I couldn't. You could further elaborate your instructions (ex. how to cook, chop, wash, etc.)
One thing I like about this game is how detailed every item is. One point of friction is its unclear what I'm meant to do once I pick up an item. One way to improve you itch page is adding how to drop items.
I really like the sprites they are very detailed I just wish that I could have cooked something but when I picked something up and put it down it disappeared.
The sprites and art are really cute and it is clear what each thing is. One friction is that you can't really tell if the items you put in the pan are there or not. One thing you can add to your page is maybe some more instructions.
The art is so cute and this game reminds me a lot of Overcooked! Honestly I don't have a lot of feedback for this game besides the fact that using the oven breaks the everything and it basically soft-locks the game, and you can't actually cook.
One strength is the smooth animation and the cool art style. one friction i have is that when i pick something up with E and press E again it disappears from my hand and i can't pick up any more food. i feel like the description could be a little more in depth: like mentioning what you will be cooking or something like that
One strength is the great animation and art style, creating a distinct theme. A point of friction is the the cooking proccess. Once you pick up the food and put it in the pan, it no longer allows you to pick up other foods. To improve the Itch page, you can maybe make the Game title name stand out more, and elaborate on the lore a bit more, but overall, the page is well made.
A strenght in this game is the cute artstyle and how detailed the foods are and the kitchen is a cool art.A point of friction for this game would probably be i cant use the picked up items. For the itch page is maybe adding a tutorial.
A strength is that the art design was very cute. A friction I encounter is when you pick up an item you can't do anything with it. Something you can improve on the Itch page is adding more intrusion (ex. how u can cook after you pick up an item ).
A strength in this game is the stlye it's very well made, you can tell what you have to do as soon as you statr the game A point of frioction is the custerms come fast you can't really play it all the way.
- I like the pixel art design of the character/food - Didnt really know what to do at the start, no instructions - Could include gameplay pictures on the page
the art design is good and I like how theres a UI. When i put the food in the pan i cant pickup other foods.whats your main goal or whats the main objective
The game looks very good visually that's definitely a strength. I was lost on what to do once I picked up the food though. I didn't know how to cook. Some directions on the screen would help. Otherwise I like it so far
A strength of the game so far is the movement of the player or character. I think something to fix would be that once you pick something up, you can't pick anything else. I would add customers or the ability to cook to improve this game.
the player, animation and art are great. There isn't really any gameplay yet so far besides walking and picking stuff up. One thing that could be improved is the camera size. the camera is a bit too close to the player so you can't see the layout well.
I love the sprites in the game as they're cool and show what each type of food it is. One bug that happens is whenever you pick up the beef, the entire game breaks and you can't pick up anything else. Other than that, it's cool that there are customers and able to ask for what they want.
I enjoy the animation of the character, looking at the art, and the overall design of the game. No instructions other than to press E to interact with an object. I believe the Itch page is well-developed so far.
the movement and the pixel art is really well done and the customers spawn. but you cant do any of the cooking for now. the pause mechanic works nicely. makeing the camera a bit larger would also be great as you spawn in the middle but you cant really see anything.

Cute art style, I love the vibe.

I like the design of everything a issue I had was after I picked up something it'll bug out something you could add is decoration to the page

i like the idea of cooking with a monkey but i wish their was more was to do thing and make the meals for thee customers in the restaurant.
The game looks like its very well developed, something u can try adding is a tiny game tutorial but overall good game

clean art, but bugs when you put food in pan, cant interact with anything else
very good animations, and it looks like the customers work. But i cant cook after i pick up the ingredients
